Consultant - Behaviour Support Specialist

Ruby has completed an Undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science and an additional Postgraduate Masters level qualification in Neuropsychology (Sydney University). Ruby is experienced in the disability sector having over 5 years’ experience in the field. Employed in a large not for profit organisation, Ruby developed her skills and becoming a Team Leader in their respite centre.

Ruby’s passion for working in the industry is through her own lived-in experience and expanded on that after working hands on in the industry. Recently, Ruby has gained skills and knowledge in complex needs working with children that have Autism Spectrum Disorder. Ruby engages with people in a collaborative manner, seeks to build a positive rapport and finds practical and suitable solutions to their support needs. Ruby integrates her skills through the understanding of the function of the behaviour and seeks out positive implementation tools
