Behaviour Specialist, Psychologist

Yvonne works for My Disability Practitioners on a contractor basis. Yvonne has broad experience as a psychologist and behaviour support practitioner working with people living with a disability. Over the past 5 years, Yvonne has specialised in management of complex behavioural presentations, seeking to identify the underlying motivations, environmental issues, and unmet needs, that contribute to the challenging behaviour of people with a disability.

Working with evidence-based techniques and strategies, Yvonne builds holistic, person-centred behaviour support plans that focus on strengths to build skills in individuals, families and support structures surrounding the person. Yvonne is passionate about improving quality of life for her clients, and she works collaboratively with families and other allied health professionals. Yvonne enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults.
