Consultant - Senior Behaviour Specialist
Sande joins My Disability Practitioners with more than 20 years’ experience, having worked in both government and non-government jobs in disability, mental health, and criminal justice. Sande holds a Masters level degree and her training background includes Education, Trauma-informed practice, and Advanced Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy based techniques. Sande is registered (ID. 00198) with the NDIS Commission as a Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner.Sande is passionate about achieving results that enhance the rights of people with a disability. Sande has experience supervising and developing practitioners and she provides expert advice in behaviour management strategies for people with disabilities that present with complex risk-taking behaviour. Sande uses a holistic approach to positively impact the lives of people with disabilities. She enjoys assisting in the development of coping skills within a range of life situations for people with disabilities.
